Yesterday Digits and I went to a nice little oxbow lake with the canoe. We spent a few hours fishing with light tackle, worms and crickets. We had a great time exploring and paddling around, but only caught a few small brim that were too small to keep.
Anyone else fish on the 4th of July? |

Yes take me fishing. 4th only takes me when we go to the lake or like the oxbow cause he goes too far out in the ocean for my comfort. I get seasick and i am clausterphobic if i don't at least feel like i can "escape" if necessary. :)]
This was a beautiful area. Indian graveyard near by. I felt lucky and humbled this past 4th of July. It was the nicest and most serene day I'd had in nature in a long time. |
